Halowow, answered
The questions people ask us most, answered by the family.
What is halo-halo?
Halo-halo is the Philippines' favorite shaved-ice dessert: finely shaved ice and milk layered with sweet fruits, jellies, ube, macapuno and ice cream. "Halo-halo" means "mix-mix" in Filipino, because you stir it all together before eating.
What makes Halowow different?
Halowow is family-owned, and we build each cup after you order from the Maghinay family recipe. Our premium signature ice is our own, and our signature cream is a custard cream the family makes by hand and sends fresh to each branch. We use no beans or candy-colored syrups, and nothing is made ahead.
Where is Halowow located?
Our flagship is in Taytay, Rizal, and we have 16 branches across Rizal, Metro Manila, Benguet, the Visayas and Mindanao. Find your nearest branch.
What flavors do you offer?
Five signature flavors: Premium Overload, Cheesy Ube Macapuno, Super Maisarap, Oh Cheesy Mangoodness and Creamy Classic. See the menu.
How much does Halowow cost?
Prices vary by branch. Ask your nearest Halowow for today's prices.
Does your halo-halo have beans?
No. None of our flavors has beans. We use sweet corn, fruit, ube, macapuno and nata de coco instead.
Do you have secret ingredients?
Yes. We are happy to tell you what is in every cup (ube halaya, macapuno, cheese, sweet corn, mango and more), but two things stay in the family: our premium signature ice and the secret recipe behind our signature cream, a custard cream made by hand.
Are your flavors available all year?
Yes. All five flavors are available year-round at every branch.
Do you only serve halo-halo?
Halo-halo is our specialty and the heart of the brand. As we grow, we may add new treats with the same Halowow care.
Can I order Halowow for events?
Yes. Many branches accept bulk and party orders. Call your nearest branch to ask.
Do you offer delivery?
Delivery depends on the branch. Many branches are on Foodpanda or local delivery apps; check with your nearest branch.
Is Halowow kid-friendly?
Yes. Super Maisarap is the kids' favorite, and every flavor works for the whole family.
Why is your tagline "Taste the Tropics, Share the Wow"?
Because our halo-halo is full of tropical Filipino flavors like mango and ube, and halo-halo is meant to be shared. "Wow" is what people tend to say after the first spoonful.
Can I franchise Halowow?
Yes. We offer kiosks and full stores, and no food business experience is required. Learn about franchising or read the franchise FAQ.
